Handmade Multi Guitar Display Rack
Guitars that stay in cases get played less. A good rack keeps them in sight and within reach, and shows off a collection the way it deserves. This rack is built like furniture: two sloped side frames joined by a padded top rail and a lower cradle, with each guitar resting in its own slot.

It holds a mix of acoustic and electric guitars, and even a bass. The angled design leans each guitar back slightly so it sits securely.
Features
- Padded contact points: protect necks and bodies.
- Stable frame: sloped side frames and a wide footprint.
- Custom sizes: racks for 3, 7, or more guitars on request.
Make It Yours
- Capacity: choose the number of slots.
- Wood and stain: to match your music room.
- Engraving: a name or band logo on the side frame.
Materials and Construction
The side frames are cut and joined from solid wood, then connected with a top rail and a lower cradle. The guitar slots are cut and padded, and the rack is sanded, stained, and sealed.

The Story Behind This Piece
The goal for this rack was a piece you would be happy to see in a living room: something that shows off a guitar collection instead of hiding it in cases.
Care and Keeping
This piece has an oil and wax finish that lets the grain show and the wood feel like wood. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth, and wipe up spills soon after they happen. Keep it out of standing water, away from harsh cleaners, and out of long hours of direct sun, which can fade the color over time.
When the surface starts to look dry or dull, rub a small amount of furniture oil or wax into the wood with a clean cloth, let it sit a few minutes, and buff off the extra. Once or twice a year is plenty for most pieces.
Build Time, Shipping, and Delivery
Every piece is made to order. If you would like a digital proof of the layout and lettering before we build, ask for one in your order notes. Shipping time is in addition to the build time.
If you have a firm date, such as a retirement, birthday, or holiday, tell us when you order. We will tell you honestly whether we can meet it. We do not guarantee rush work.
We pack every piece carefully for the trip and ship anywhere in the U.S.; the shipping cost is shown at checkout. For orders of $75 or more within 25 miles of Charleston, West Virginia, free local delivery is available. We are a private shop, so we do not offer pickup or workshop visits.
Good to Know
- No two are alike: wood grain, color, knots, and figure vary from board to board, so your piece will not match these photos exactly. That variation is the mark of a handmade piece, not a defect.
- These photos show a piece we made earlier: yours is built new, to your details.
- Custom commissions are final sale: custom pieces cannot be returned. If anything arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we will work out a fix with you.
- Sales tax: West Virginia sales tax applies to orders delivered in West Virginia.
